Announcements for September 11, 2026 – B-2 (Day 14)
Daily Happenings: The activity bus will leave the MS at 5:30 today
MS FB will practice at the HS today.

Menu: Chicken Strips, Carrots, Slice Pears & Cookie

• Due to the construction of the city streets in Elgin. The bus stop at Main St. and Clermont St. will be moved to 237 Center St. at the Elgin City Park.
• There will be a Babysitting Basics Class held at NICC Oelwein Center Oct. 3.   9am -3:30 pm.  Please see the attached flyer.
• Students are NOT allowed in the locker rooms during morning supervision.

• Students should be checking out iPads for academic purposes ONLY and not for gaming etc.
• MS STUDENTS: You must ride your assigned homeroom shuttle when going from the MS to the HS and from the HS to the MS.  There is not enough room on the shuttles to be switching buses.  Bus #17 (Kleve, Shirley & Kerr), Bus #8 (Sweeney, Menne & McGowan), Bus #5 (Dugger, Mork & Thompson), Bus #3 (Anderson, Sieck, Monroe & Toussaint/Brubaker)
• REMINDER: iPads should NOT be taken into the locker rooms.
• There should be NO students in the multi, gym or safe room without adult supervision.

• There will be NO food allowed on any of the MS shuttles.
• As a reminder, the only games students are allowed to play during free time at school are linked on the Approved Sites page on the school website. 
• Lunch Cards: If you have lost your lunch card, please email Jill.  New lunch cards will be printed on Friday afternoons and ready for pick up on Monday mornings.
