Minutes, Public Hearing of the North Fayette Valley Community School District Board of Education, Monday, March 24, 2025, in the NFV High School Library, 600 N Pine Street, West Union, IA  52175

Marcks.  Superintendent: Joe Griffith, Business Manager:

President Koch called the Special Meeting of the NFV Board of Education to order at 5:30 pm.

 

Roll Call of Board members: Present: Rodgers, McGrane, Nelson-Lerch, Klosterman, Marcks, & Koch.  Schultz was absent.  Klosterman led the pledge of allegiance.    

 

The agenda was approved as presented.  McGrane/Klosterman Carried 6-0

 

Motion was made by Rodgers, seconded by Marcks to open the public hearing at 5:32pm.  Motion carried 6-0

 

President Koch provided opening comments regarding the public hearing.

 

No written comments were submitted and oral comments were made by Business Manager Stansbery to help provide clarity on the proposed levy rates.

 

Motion was made by Marcks, seconded by Klosterman to close the public hearing at 5:34pm.  Motion carried 6-0 

 

Motion to adjourn at 5:44 pm.    Marcks/Klosterman  Motion Carried 6-0
