Minutes, Special Meeting of the North Fayette Valley Community School District Board of Education, Monday, March 24, 2025, in the NFV Central Office Conference Room, 600 N Pine Street, West Union, IA  52175

President Koch called the Special Meeting of the NFV Board of Education to order at 5:44 pm.

 

Roll Call of Board members: Present: Rodgers, McGrane, Nelson-Lerch, Klosterman, Marcks, & Koch.  Schultz was absent.    

 

The agenda was approved as presented. McGrane/Nelson-Lerch Motion Carried 6-0

 

The board approved volunteer coaches Koby Moore – Baseball and Steve Schroeder – Golf. 

 

The board accepted the resignations as follows: Travis Wymer – Assistant Varsity Football, Nate Meyer – Middle School Girls Wrestling, Kylee Smith – Agricultural Education/FFA, Neal Bentley – High School Industrial Technology, Jaime Bizarri – Middle School Vocal Music.   

 

The board approved the following new hires: Gage Mohs – Assistant Varsity Football; Brock Sorensen – High School Industrial Technology, Middle School Girls Wrestling, and Middle School Football; Ryan Holthaus – Agricultural Education and FFA Advisor; Bryan Wendt – Musical Director. 

 

The board approved the issuing of the FY26 Contracts. Klosterman/Marcks  Motion Carried 6-0

 

Motion to adjourn at 5:47 pm. McGrane/Rodgers  Motion Carried 6-0
