Minutes, Worksession Meeting of the North Fayette Valley Community School District Board of Education, Monday, March 3, 2021, in the NFV HS Library, 600 N Pine St, West Union, IA  52175

 

NFV Board of Education: Julie Ahrens, Stacy Cummings, Emily Koch, Eileen 

Schlawin, Marc Rue & LaCreasha McNeese.  Carolyn Roys was absent.

 

Others: Superintendent: Joe Griffith; Supt Secretary: Susan 

Winter; Principals:  Travis Elliott; Staff: Jay Swenka; Alex Synder; Others: Vic Amoroso.  

 

President Cummings called the Worksession of the NFV Board of Education to order at 4:35 p.m and led the board and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. 

 

Vic Amoroso, Representative from Midwest Engineering Associates Inc., presented the construction plans for the West Union Elementary project which would include upgrades to the heating systems, ventilation, and a new sprinkler system. The discussion focused on the scope of the project, construction bids, and timelines. 

 

No action was taken at this time.

 

The Board adjourned the meeting at 5:24 pm.  Rue/Ahrens Motion Carried 5-0
