Minutes, Special Meeting of the North Fayette Valley Community School District Board of Education, Monday, March 30, 2026, in the NFV High School Library, 600 N Pine Street, West Union, IA  52175

President Koch called the Special Meeting of the NFV Board of Education to order at 5:33 pm.

 

Roll Call of Board members: Present: Schultz, Nelson-Lerch, Klosterman, Marcks, & Koch.  Rodgers & McGrane were absent.    

 

The agenda was approved as presented. Klosterman/Marcks Motion Carried 5-0

 

The board approved the resignation of Leah Butikofer – Speech – Individual Assistant Director. 

Klosterman/Schultz Motion Carried 5-0

 

The board approved the following new hires: Anne Britt – School Social Worker 2026-2027; Makinzie Dugger – Speech – Individual Assistant Director 2026-2027; Chloe Yauslin – 5th Grade Teacher 2026-2027.

Klosterman/Schultz Motion Carried 5-0

 

The board approved the FY27 contract with the NFVEA.  Klosterman/Marcks Motion Carried 5-0

 

The board approved the issuing of the FY27 Contracts. Klosterman/Schultz  Motion Carried 5-0

 

The board approved and accepted the district phone upgrade bid with Zoom and CDWG.  Marcks/Schultz Motion Carried 5-0  

 

The board set the Public Hearing for the FY26 Budget Amendment for April 20, 2026 at the regular board meeting.  Nelson-Lerch/Schultz Motion Carried 5-0

 

Motion to adjourn at 6:03 pm. Klosterman/Schultz  Motion Carried 5-0
